Sporting activities such as walking, running and jumping, all place a greater physical demand on the body than your normal daily activities would. During running alone your feet can absorb up to 3 times your body weight and this increases significantly if your sport includes jumping as well. At Wanneroo Podiatry we understand the structure and movement of your feet and can diagnose foot conditions, recommend appropriate footwear and training regiments. When necessary our Podiatrists can refer you for diagnostic x-rays and ultrasound that are eligible for a Medicare rebate. We can also refer our Patients for ultrasound guided injection, CT scans and MRI imaging.

Our Podiatrists do a full lower limb assessment of your condition and offer treatment modalities to get you back to peak condition as soon as possible. Treatment modalities include trigger point therapy, acupuncture and dry needling techniques, taping and strapping, padding, joint mobilization, shoe inserts, modified or custom orthotics, footwear prescription, splints and cast boots.
